Biofiber board

• The biofiber board is made from 100% sustainable, certified wood.

• A special feature of biofiber production is the wet fiber process. During this process, the wood’s own natural resins are dissolved and later serve as a binding agent in the biofiber board. This eliminates the need for petrochemical additives as binding agents in the biofiber board. Furthermore, the energy required for board production comes exclusively from biogenic and therefore sustainable fuels.

• Due to the wet fiber process, the biofiber board has the best physical properties among thin wood materials, opening up a wide range of possible applications.

HPL

HPL is High Pressure Laminate. These laminates consist of several layers of paper with resin coating which have been joined together under high pressure.

Multiplex

We use three-ply beech and birch plywood with very little glue content and an extremely break and edge strength.

Fabrics

For the nappy changer mats a PU leather is used (oil and grease resistant). It meets the Eco Tex Standard 100, Product Class I for baby articles. All other timkid fabrics fulfil the Eco Tex Standard 100.
